Testimonials
Peninsula Montessori's Alumni graduate ready to begin defining and pursuing their ambitions, first at strong secondary schools and later at leading universities. They have developed the personal, social and academic skills to gracefully and happily succeed in today's world. Here are some reflections from recent alumni and their parents.
"Peninsula Montessori is a unique and outstanding school. The Montessori experience begins with an environment that encourages children to be self-sufficient and intellectually curious. Students learn through exploration and discovery, utilizing hands-on materials that relate concepts through progression. Each child's personality and unique abilities are recognized and celebrated. The classroom is a community in which children learn life's lessons throug interation."
John and Lina, parents of Micheal, LeAnne, and Robbie
"The teacher at Peninsula Montessori School have an intuition about children that simply cannot be taught. This gift enables them to be responsive to each child's individual strengths and weaknesses-enhancing both. they balance fun and accountability, creating a low-risk learning environment in which students feel confident to step out of their comfort zones and take chances, knowing mistakes are great learning opportunities, and need not be feared."
Jamie and Mike, parents of Jordan
The Montessori method is helping our children become more independent, self-directed individuals. Even though we live a good distance from the school, and have closer options available, we just aren't willing to give up the wonderful education that our children are receiving from Peninsula Montessori School.
Suzanne and Paul, parents of Ryan and Kyle

"Our aim is not merely to make the child understand, and still less to force him to memorize - but so to touch his imagination as to enthuse him to his inner core."
- Maria Montessori
